Ballinode Community College is a co-educational college offering comprehensive programmes of education at both Junior and Leaving Certificate levels. At both Junior and Leaving Certificate all subjects are offered at both higher and ordinary level.

At junior level our students also partake in the Junior Certificate Schools Programme where students receive additional support and where their achievements are acknowledged and reinforced. At senior level students have a choice between the traditional Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme and the more practical and task based Leaving Certificate Applied Programme.

Ballinode Community College is a relatively small school that strives to create a friendly and caring environment where the individual needs of each student is met. The school provides a safe environment that encourages excellence and is conducive to learning and personal development.

It is our policy to have classes that are small and this allows us to cater for students of high academic ability and for those who may require additional supports.
