Subjects

 First Year subjects

The core subjects for first years are as follows

Irish, English, Mathematics, History, Geography, Science, French / Spanish, CSPE, Physical Education, SPHE, Computers and Religion

Optional Subjects are 1 Home Economics or Woodwork, 2 Art Craft and Design or Metalwork and 3 Business Studies or Technical Graphics

Students may study all of the above at Higher, Ordinary or Foundation level.

Leaving Certificate Subjects

Core Subjects: Irish, English, Mathematics, Links and French/spanish

Optional subjects: 1 Business Studies, DCG or Art, 2 Geography, Engineering or Agricultural Science and 3 Home Economics or Construction Studies

Links with ESB

Our college is now partnered with the ESB whose staff work with and advise our students in a number of areas including career choices, mock interviews, work experience, motivational talks etc. This is a tremendous opportunity for our students to work with a company that has an out-standing national and international reputation.
