Classrooms are equipped with the most modern and up to date technology and equipment including iPods, iPads, smart boards, E-beams, data projectors, visualisers, digital cameras and camcorders.
Specialist rooms - Home Economics, Construction Studies, Engineering/Metalwork, Technical Graphics, Science and Computers laboratories have been modernised to have state of the art facilities.
Supervised study is available from 3:30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.. Study/Revision facilities will be available during the Easter holidays.
A book loan scheme is provided where all text books are provided at a very low cost - currently €100. This once off payment covers students for their entire three year Junior Certificate programme with a small fee in the third year to cover examination papers and mock examinations.
A Gaelic and soccer pitch with changing rooms is on the school grounds. There is also a hard-court area for basketball, volleyball and soccer.
The College now has an excellent and modern canteen serving freshly prepared food at break times. Students can avail of the Breakfast Club where juice and cereals are served free of charge prior to the start of classes. Full lunches (3 to 4 options daily) are available at subsidised rates, currently €2.00 and a range of other snacks and beverages are also available at very competitive prices. Student may of course bring their own lunches and free filtered water is available throughout the day. Food is also provided before after school study.
